What I Learned About Categories and Tags

Categories and tags have different purposes but work together to create a smooth search for content for your website online more easily for search engines and for customers looking into your content. For instance, categories are often added to webpages with words that categorize the essence of your post into groups it may be defined in. On the other hand, tags are used to provide relevant keywords associated with the content of your webpage posts to connect them to each other like a string on a rope with multiple links. Tags link content together into unifying keywords and category’s structure posts to your content into genres that may help order your posts into groups for search engines and customers to see. As Awesome Motive Inc.(2026) mentions, categories are like chapters to a book and tags are like indexes on the back of a book that gives reference to many keywords mentioned in the book.

How Will I Develop Tags and Categories for TheGoofyGremlin.com?

For my website, The Goofy Gremlin,I will be researching common keywords on Google keywords to understand the best relevant keywords for my meme-culture branded blogs and topics. As well as using The Goofy Gremlin as a blog, there will be academic posts regarding the lessons of my Word Press college course, so education will be another topic for my blog website during this time. By researching keywords on Google that may be relevant for my meme-culture brand topic, it will help by creating efficient tags for my posts. Since part of the essence of my blog posts will be educational in relation to my Word Press College course, my meme blog content may also be educational also, providing educational insights and information and memes, the origin of certain memes, their uses, and the impact of memes on society.
